The ATEX approval of our proven KFS Ex flap-type flowmeter has been extended to include the ignition protection type “flameproof enclosure” (Ex d).
The application range of the KFS has been expanded without changing its external dimensions or design.
The device can be used in Zone 1 and/or 2 and now carries the updated ATEX markings “II 2 G Ex db IIC T6…T1 Gb” and “II 2G c IIC T6…T1”.
