DMU 60 FD duoBLOCK machining center is a milling-turning machine with DirectDrive technology for complete machining at speeds of up to 1,200 min⁻¹, designed as a compact third-generation duoBLOCK system.

With 5-axis simultaneous machining, the machine combines two processes in a single system. Complete machining with 5-axis simultaneous milling and turning in one setup ensures maximum precision while significantly reducing cycle times. Using this process, our KLA and KFS series, for example, are manufactured in a maximum of two setups. Intelligent control systems are essential to translate machine performance into maximum process efficiency, highest part precision, and optimal user-friendliness. This enables A. Kirchner & Tochter GmbH to produce cost-efficient, high-quality components.
