As part of final inspection, A. Kirchner & Tochter GmbH performs a pressure resistance test on every device, where required by the EC Pressure Equipment Directive.

Our pressure test bench is capable of testing nominal sizes up to DN 400 and a maximum installation length of 600 mm. With additional accessories, A. Kirchner & Tochter GmbH is able to test devices with nominal sizes up to DN 600.

The devices are tested at 1.5 times the maximum operating pressure.

In addition, all devices are subjected to a leak test prior to shipment. The leak testing system enables automated testing of components for tightness using pressurization and measurement of leakage rates.
