One of our core competencies is in-house glass body manufacturing. For this purpose, we exclusively use borosilicate glass from SCHOTT AG. The glass cones for our measuring devices are produced from tube glass using a thermal process. The measuring glass is then scaled according to customer requirements and fixed by a further thermal process.

In November 2020, our new semi-automated glass forming machine was commissioned. This new equipment ensures consistently high precision of our measuring glasses, representing an additional quality feature for our customers.

The previous glass forming machine remains operational as a backup system. This provides us with a second reliable production base, allowing us to revert to the former process at any time in the event of a production bottleneck. Both processes ensure a stable and secure outlook for glass forming in the coming years.
