The primary measuring element of the flow meter is a vane that is deflected by the flowing process fluid. The angle of deflection provides a direct indication of the flow rate through the pipeline.
In the KLA version, the vane is gravity-loaded, allowing measurements in flow directions from left to right, right to left, or from bottom to top.
In the KLA-GS version, the process fluid can be directly observed through a sight glass.
In the KFS version, the vane is spring-loaded, enabling the device to be used for flow measurements in the top-to-bottom direction as well.
