APPLICATIONS
The RA 60 and FA 60 flowmeters operate according to the variable area (float) principle.
Water treatment
Industrial processes (paper, textiles, etc.)
Chemical and pharmaceutical industries
Heating and cooling circuits
DESCRIPTION
The measuring principle is based on a variable area flowmeter, in which the flow rate is determined by a float moving inside a calibrated tapered glass tube. The borosilicate glass measuring tube is housed in a protective steel casing with a Plexiglas viewing window.

These flowmeters can be equipped with a magnetic float and bistable electrical reed contacts, adjustable across the entire measuring range.
4 ... 20 mA Output
The linear position sensor, based on the Hall effect principle, provides an output signal proportional to the float position. The signal can be supplied as a 4 ... 20 mA or 0 ... 10 V output for remote indication purposes. The sensor is connected via the supplied M12 × 1 mm connector.
