Design and application range
The SKT, SKP, and SKPVC plastic flowmeters operate according to the variable area (float) principle.
The flow rate is displayed on the scale attached to the measuring tube via the reading edge of the float. The reading edge corresponds to the largest diameter of the float. The standard scale is designed for water (20 °C) in l/h and % and includes two adjustable setpoint indicators. Special scales for other media are available on request.
By installing adjustable electrical limit switches covering the entire measuring range, the devices can also be used as flow monitors. In addition, the integration of a linear displacement sensor allows an output signal proportional to the float position to be generated.
