The flap flow meter is ideal wherever a robust, reliable, and cost-effective device is required for flow visualization and monitoring.
DESCRIPTION
The KLA series flow meters are based on the same principle as the KFS series. A flap pivots inside the body proportionally to the flow rate.
In the KLA-GS version, the flap is directly visible through two sight glasses on the front and rear of the device. The scale is engraved on the dial at the front. In this cost-effective version, the circulating fluid is directly visualized.
In the standard KLA version, a magnet transmits the flap movement to a pointer located in an external housing. For automation purposes, this model can be equipped with:
- 1 or 2 inductive contacts - 1 × 4–20 mA analog output generated by an angle converter providing a signal proportional to the angular position. This signal can be linearized
