The STAN-K piston flow monitors are used for position-independent monitoring of water, oils, or other liquids.
DESCRIPTION
The devices are equipped with an orifice plate containing a magnetized piston located in a cylindrical measuring tube. The piston is moved by the fluid being measured and balanced by a compensated spring, enabling operation in any mounting position.
A bistable reed contact, which is open at rest, is mounted on an external rail and closes when the magnetized piston passes. The switching point of the contact can be adjusted across the entire measuring range via the rail.
The actual flow may exceed the set measuring range without damaging the device; however, pressure loss will increase.
The devices must only be operated with particle-free fluids and must be kept free from magnetic influences.
