The STAN-V piston flow meter is used for position-independent measurement of water, oils, or other liquids. The STAN-V can be installed in both horizontal and vertical pipelines.
DESCRIPTION
The devices are equipped with a spring-loaded piston located in a cylindrical measuring tube made of borosilicate glass.
The piston with orifice bore, together with the spring, forms the measuring system. When the STAN-V is in operation, the piston changes position proportionally to the volumetric flow rate.
The flow rate is read directly at the upper edge of the piston on a scale located on the glass.
The STAN-V-K series includes the optionally available limit switch. This switch is adjustable across the entire measuring range.
The actual flow may exceed the set switching point without damaging the device; however, pressure loss will increase.
The devices must only be operated with particle-free fluids and must be kept free from magnetic influences.
